Joanne Rowling, pen name J. K. Rowling is a British author mainly known as the author of the bestselling Harry Potter series. On her birth certificate, she does not have a middle name despite her name of J. K. Rowling and used "J. K. Rowling" because her thought was that people wouldn't publish or read her book because she was female, therefore she changed her pen name to J. K. Rowling. She used "K" for her middle pen name for Kathleen from her grandmother.
Her life varies upon the three stages of her life (child, adult, present) from being of a great struggle to a great success; generally troubled at the beginning of her life to the time of achievement. She was the eldest child in her family and grew up in a house in Church Cottage, Tutshill, England. She went to St Michael's Primary School for her elementary years.
